Parker Hill Branch Library opens.

Architect: Cram & Ferguson. Designed in the Late Gothic Revival style, it is located at 1497 Tremont Street. The exterior of the building has a carved seal of Massachusetts on one side, the seal of the City of Boston on the other, and seal of the Boston Public Library over the entrance. The library was established in rented space at 1518 Tremont Street in July 1907.
